KICS (Kumaraguru Inter College Sports meet) is all about inspiration and recognition! The inauguration of the 16th edition of KICS took place today in Kumaraguru campus, and this time its the 2nd edition for KCLAS. The President of Kumaraguru Institutions, Shri Shankar Vanavarayar made his presence at the ceremony and declared the sports meet open by flagging off the dove high. The torch and the olympic flame are two greatest symbols of Olympics. The distinguished athletes who brought laurels to Kumaraguru lighted the torch to officially signal the start of the tournaments. The first highlight was a friendly basketball match between the Alumni of KCT and the current players of the team. The next two days will witness a lot of high adrenaline matches. The players have all come together to become champions. There will be moments of glory, dejection and regret but as an evergreen saying goes, ‘winning the game doesn't matter, how you play the game does".
