Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cameron, a Schlumberger

KCT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cameron, a Schlumberger company. The MoU is signed for extending the PGDDE (Post Graduate Diploma in Design Engineering for Oil and Gas Industry) Programme and the newly launched DDE (Diploma in Design Engineering for Oil and Gas Industry) Programme. The agreement is signed for five years for both Programmes. PGDDE is a One year Programme fully sponsored by Cameron. The unique feature is guaranteed employment for the students at Cameron after they successfully complete the Programme conducted at KCT. Till date, 72 Students from 4 Batches over the 4 years have passed out from the Programme and are working as Design Engineers with Cameron. DDE is a 4-month Programme sponsored by Cameron. Students after successful completion of the Programme will be working as Designers with CMI. Both PGDDE and DDE Programmes are specific to Industry, Company and Domain in the Oil and Gas sphere. Application Oriented Learning and Training in Design Softwares are the major highlights of the Programme. Faculty with decades of experience from India and abroad teach the Students with mentoring by Cameron Engineers at regular intervals throughout the year. Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru College of Technology and Mr K.
