The 2nd edition of the Alumni Trophy was held at Kumaraguru Campus from 20th to 22nd December 2024. This annual event aims to celebrate the enduring bond between the institution and its alumni through a spirited sports meet. It brought together alumni and students in a vibrant display of talent, sportsmanship, and camaraderie across nine different events. Over 10 institutions and multiple alumni teams participated in events such as badminton, cricket, football, and more. In Badminton, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology were crowned winners, while Kumaraguru Alumni emerged as runners-up. Kumaraguru Alumni won the 5’s Football tournament, with KG College of Arts and Science as runners-up. In Hockey, Maruthi College took the top spot, while Kumaraguru Alumni reached the top four. VLB Janaki Ammal Arts and Science College won Handball and Kho-Kho; Kumaraguru Alumni placed third in both. KPR Arts and Science College won Kabaddi; Kumaraguru Alumni finished fourth. Hindustan College of Arts and Science claimed the Volleyball title; Kumaraguru College placed fourth. All tournaments followed either League, Knockout, or combined formats over one or two days. The event witnessed enthusiastic alumni participation and highlighted the spirit of 'Connecting the Past, Inspiring the Future'.
