On December 23, 2023, Kumaraguru Institutions witnessed a joyous and nostalgic reunion as 158 alumni from the esteemed batch of 2013 returned to their alma mater to celebrate a decade since their graduation. A few of the alumni were also felicitated with Rising Star award for excelling in their chosen career paths. The event was marked by heartfelt reunions, shared memories, and a collective journey down the lanes of nostalgia. Alumni from seven countries including from USA, Germany and Dubai had come all the way to be part of this memorable reunion. Outstanding achievements of alumni in various fields were recognized through awards, acknowledging their contributions to society and their alma mater. Mr.Ashwanth Suresh Babu, CEO of A Toddler Thing received the Rising Star Entrepreneurship Award in the startup category. Mr. D Prasad, Chairman, Dayal Silk Tradition received the Rising Star Entrepreneurship Award in the family business category. Mr.Prathap Nandagopalan, Trustee, Kovai Kulangal Padhukaapu Amaipu received the rising star social impact award and Film Actor Mr. L K Viknesh (Kathir) received the Rising Star – Arts or Creative Pursuits award.
