The Silver Jubilee celebrations for the Batch of 1995-1999 were held on Saturday, 27th July 2024, with 123 alumni returning to our campus from various parts of the world. The event was filled with nostalgia, rekindled old friendships, and creating new memories. The day began with a group photo, after which the alumni gathered at the Sarabhai-Kalam Theater. The event commenced with a tribute to the late faculty, staff, and alumni, followed by a welcome address by Dr. P. Devaki, Associate Dean of Alumni Relations. Updates and glimpses of Kumaraguru Institutions were then presented by Mr. Kathiravan U., Senior Manager - HR, Mr. Nishanth Sivasamy, AVP - Communication Services & Infrastructure, Mr. Saravanan C., AVP - Microcosm, Mr. Sooriya Pragash N., AVP - HR & Placements, and Mr. Harisankaran, Manager - PMO. A special address was delivered by Shri. Shankar Vanavarayar, President of Kumaraguru Institutions, followed by felicitation address by Dr. Ezhilarasi, Principal of KCT. The batch honored their faculty and staff with mementos. Several alumni took the stage to share their reflections and fond memories with the batch. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Raghupathy S, Director of Strategic Planning & Review. Post lunch, the alumni visited their respective departments, interacted with students, shared invaluable experiences, and promised to support the institution through collaborations in research, placements, mentorship, and more. The batch also committed to contributing a monument worth Rs. 10 lakhs as a lasting memory of their time at the college.
